SpotFinder is super theme for any sort of listing by creating your own search fields. Packed with a custom built front-end submission system, featuring a custom cart and paypal integration.The theme has ability to allow users to submit their own listings and charge them to do so or to add extras such as more images, more tags, custom fields and a lot more, all with no wordpress backend at all. It includes fully translatable emails as well as unsubcribe links for every sign up.
Out of the box SpotFinder comes with 5 dummy contents: Real Estate, Bars & Restaurants, Job Listings, Hotels and Car Dealership. All dummy content come with styles and images.
In the theme is used a live, interactive version of Google Maps so users can search down listings with AJAX filtering without page reloading.
Built upon native wordpress Framework, SpotFinder is packed with the interactive and intuitive bPanel, for easier website management and  has dozens of shortcodes, unlimited sidebars, shortcode generator and a whole lot more.

Performance evaluation via PageSpeed Insights on Desktop and Mobile Device

Analysis was done for the Home Page of theme demo. PageSpeed Insights fetches a site with a webkit renderer that emulates both mobile and desktop devices and takes into account characteristics of mobile networks.
The results returned by the PageSpeed Insights API includes the following information: PageSpeed score, summary statistics for the page and PageSpeed results for rules based on general principles of web page performance.

1. PageSpeed score

The PageSpeed Score (0-100) indicates how much faster a page could be. A high score indicates little room for improvement, while a low score indicates more room for improvement.
From the point of theme evaluating this characteristic shows how in the theme had taken into account the data processing, minification and optimal loading.

  • The amount of downloaded data for mobile device increased by 183 KB which means loading not only theme data common for the desktop and mobile devices but also data specific to the mobile device.
  • Total page size does not exceed the reasonable values ​​for page loading on a mobile device.
  • The number of requests for a mobile device has increased by 2 which further decreases the page load speed.
